Here is baby buttress at 10 1/2 weeks, growing and wiggling around again on the u/s. Michael was there to witness it and then the baby flipped around from one side of my belly to the other side, pretty cool. Yesterday was a rough day for us so I will blog some of it. Although baby is growing and heartbeat is good, at 168 there is come concern. They doctor saw some thickening in the bone tissue around the baby's neck and so next Tuesday we will go to the perinatologist where they will do another u/s and blood work to see if there is more to be concerned about. Most of the ladies who have babies or are pregnant now know how this goes. He said not to freak out and it could be nothing, sometimes they see it and it goes away. Depending on what they find, which we have to wait a week for the results, will determine what our next step will be. This situation weighs heavily on my mind, as I tell you Michael is the positive one and my mind starts racing. As some of you know, Michael's mom has been in the hospital since last Sunday and is very sick and in the ICU. Some days are better than others but we have a long road ahead of us, so needless to say we are a bit overwhelmed with all that is going on. We thank all of our friends and family once again for their continued love and support, it really means a lot to us and helps us get through our difficult days. We will keep you posted when we have some news.
To our friends and family we hope this will be a great way to keep in touch with all of you. Enjoy and write often and let us know how life has been treating you. Love, Laugh, & Live life to it's fullest!
