I had my retrieval yesterday and things went well. I had some medium cramping and bleeding but I am feeling better now and the bleeding has stopped. They retrieved 10 eggs yesterday. We just got a call from the embryologist to let us know that out of those 10 eggs 6 were mature and 5 fertilized. So they will call us on Sunday to let us know what time to be there for the transfer on Monday. Hopefully all of these embies will make it to day 5 and they can transfer 2 and we can freeze the rest. Our doctor told us they are treating these has "high risk" embryos and put them in a special liquid, with hopes that this will give them the best chance to survive. This is the tough part for me, wondering if they are going to call and tell us if we lost 1 or 2 or whatever but I have to tell myself I have done my part and there is nothing else I can do at this point, it is out of our hands. We will post something when we know something! Go embies goooooo.
On another note we have ventured back into stocking the Koi Pond, and got 2 more additions last night, so we are now up to 4 Koi and 2 alge sucker fish. I have named 2 of the 4 Koi, Malikai and Tulula and will work on the others name today!! The doggies are doing well and like having mom home with them during the day. I am off work until the 12th, keeping my body relaxed and stress free (as much as I can). Michael is out of the office for the most part and on his new job site, doing an addition to an elementary school in Royal Palm Beach. Stay tuned.....
