I thought I would give a quick update on what is going on. We talked with our agency today and they said that we should hear something this week about our travel date!! We are excited, but I am a little reserved b/c what if it does not happen, it's a short week, I am just a nervous nelly and keeping up my defenses. Michael has been great and pushing me to not worry so much and that it will all work out. We have been getting things slowly for the boys room, the big stuff, like beds, mattresses, mattress covers, and some curtains, thanks to my hubby saying " look forward, it will be fine". I have managed to put of ordering the dresser, but I told him once we get our travel date then I will. We can not wait until the last minute, there will be many other things going on that we have to do when we get back from our trip, so we are trying to lessen the load. That's it for now, Michael is in the boys room putting up the curtains, he is so cute and has really took charge of kicking me in the butt to get things done for the boys room. I guess my defenses are up, which is normal I think, but I am trying to let those walls come down little by little. Words can not describe how much we love these boys and how excited we are to become parents and raise a family, some of you may ask LOVE? How is this possible, you only have a picture of them.
Fair question, but simple answer, we fell in love with them from the moment we found out we were given this wonderful opportunity to adopt these boys, and the pictures were just a bonus! Looking at those faces every day just continues to connect us more and deepen our bond with those little guys. I am looking at their pictures as I am doing this blog entry, soon you all will be able to look at these beautiful little boys! We will let you know ASAP when we get that travel date, the anticipation is killing us!
Again, thanks to all of our friends and family who continue to give us love and support, it means a lot to us. Until next time....
To our friends and family we hope this will be a great way to keep in touch with all of you. Enjoy and write often and let us know how life has been treating you. Love, Laugh, & Live life to it's fullest!

Another document needed!!
It seems like each week, it's just "one more document". That's what we heard again today but then was assured that this is it for our first trip. I got it to them today so it could get sent out today! I'm a crazy lady, so we are told that we should HOPEFULLY hear something maybe by the end of next week when we will be able to travel. Not going as fast as I like but what can I do about it? NOTHING! Continue to be patient and wait, wait, wait. We got back last night from our Ohio trip, such a good time. It was great to see the family and meet some more family at a mini reunion Friday night. No "blow out" this trip, though I ate enough to make it happen, hehe. Next year our gathering will be in California, so I am very excited, since I have never been and I can see where Michael grew up, and we will have our boys by then. Gotta go make dinner and cookies!!

Russia celebrates a holiday
It's a national holiday in Russia today, I guess they won't be working on our dossier today. We are getting ready to head off to Ohio for the weekend, hopefully no delays, its stormy outside and about to rain. Maybe we will have some news about our boys next week.
Holiday mood sweeps Russia
Millions of people across Russia have been enjoying a day off to celebrate the country's national holiday. The Declaration of Sovereignty was adopted on 12 June 1990, when Russia was still a republic within the USSR. The document paved the way to modern Russia, and remains a milestone in the nation's history.

Part 2 of the still waiting
OK---
So now we have been told that the documents that we have signed and given to them today is all the region needs at this point. We don't have to have the other documents until our 2nd trip, so that is a relief, however we were told this once before and then they came back and said well we need this. We were told that this should be the last document that they need for our first trip. I hope so, I'm going crazy. Maybe we will get lucky and be able to travel by the end of this month. Fingers crossed.

Still waiting........
Hi all,
I know its been a few weeks since I have written. Not much to report, we are still waiting on our dossier to be translated, which I was hoping would be by the end of this week but I don't see that happening. Russia just asked us for some more documents yesterday, so we took care of that and they will be dropped off at the office today so they can get them out but we have 2 other documents that need to go over but require the boys birth dates on them, but they have not given those to us yet, we have been waiting for like 2 weeks. We thought we were going to be able to get them yesterday but it didn't work out so maybe today. We are headed off to Columbus Thursday for Micahel's dads yearly golf tournament, so it should be fun. Thanks for every ones continued support we appreciate it!!
