Aunt D & Uncle M

We have had the pleasure of recently baby sitting our now 4 month old nephew, Avery! He is super cute and such a good little man. He is growing so fast. Hope everyone is doing well. A few other of our friends have had babies in the last 2 weeks, with one today!! We are very happy for everyone and look forward to having our baby sometime this year. We are in the waiting process with paper work for the adoption. We were told today once our home study gets turned in, which will be soon we hope! That it will get sent to immigration for approval, usually takes about 2 weeks and then things should move along rather quickly. In the mean time we will stay busy with our house additions and our nieces and nephews and friends kiddos! Check out Avery with his Aunt Denise and Uncle Michael.

Home Study Part 2

We had the second part of our homestudy done on Saturday and things went well. We turned in the rest of our paperwork that we were responsible for and now we just wait. I think the next process is for our homestudy to be approved by immigration. We will keep you posted as things transpire. Thanks for everyones love and support!

DOG FIGHT!!

Uncle Aaron came over for some Saturday afternoon fun and got a little more than he bargained for. Luca and Kona engaged him in a tag team wrestling match. Who won? You decide.

Home Study Part I

We had to break up our homestudy into 2 parts due to our social workers child being sick. She was here for 2 hours and things went really well. She asked us a bunch of questions, looked at the house and met the girlies. We are doing well and moving along with our paperwork. Our Social Worker will come back next Saturday to finish up with questions and gather the rest of our paperwork. It then gets sent to immigration for approval. We will keep you all informed as much as possible. We are truly excited and can't wait until we get to go on our first trip to Russia to meet our new baby!

Adoption Source

We have selected an agency called Adoption Source and have a lot of confidence they will get us connected with a baby. Now the fun begins, which means lots and lots of paperwork to compose our home study. We are both excited to begin.
