30 weeks Belly Pics

Here's baby Camden at 30 weeks, I have a doctors appointment tomorrow. We had a little spill on the 23rd, I got wrapped up with the dogs outside and I fell on our porch, turning to fall on my side vs full on belly. To make a long story short, the doctor sent me to the hospital and hooked us up to a fetal monitor for 4 hours, had a ultrasound and a bunch of tests, Camden and I were doing just fine, but they ended up keeping us over night and I got released on Christmas Eve around 5:30ish. I was having some minor contractions and was not having them prior to the fall so that is why they kept me for a 24 hour observation. All is well, a little sore and a few bumps and bruises but no worries. It was quite interesting being on the labor and delivery floor because I got to hear women giving birth to their babies, talk about loud, oh my! One woman could of been in my room giving birth as much screaming as she was doing. I must admit it did freak me out a little bit, thinking that was going to be me in 10 weeks, but then hearing the baby cry was pretty amazing, so I finally fell asleep at 4am and was up at 6am. We had a relaxing Christmas, stayed local and just took it easy. We went and saw Marley and Me, highly recommend it, we both read the book which is always better but the movie was still great! My parents came on the 26th for a visit and then we did Christmas on the 28th with Aaron, Jessica and Avery after they got back from visiting with her family. Stay tuned....
P.S. That picture above with the dogs is them in my preggo pillow! They love it!

Visit from Molly Dog

Just a few snap shots of the household while cousin Molly was spending the week with us. Can you tell what picture was after Molly left! LOL! We had a good time and she is always welcomed back. 5 dogs during the holidays, we must be crazy! We are now back down to our 4 but it looks like somebody had a little to much action.

Say hi to Camden 3D/4D 27.5 weeks

She is moving around a lot in this clip, like she was during most of the u/s today. She was really snuggling against my placenta so we could never really get a front on shot, but they are cute and it was fun to watch her. I wish we could do this every week. They took like 50 pictures but a lot of them are hard to make out b/c she was so active. This one is a good photo of her, I will post more after I have gone though all of them.

27. 5 weeks Baby Buttress Video 3/4 D

Here she is stretching her neck and moving around. She was pretty active during the u/s so it was hard at times to get good pictures, plus she kept having her hands by her face and she was smooching her face into my placenta like a pillow, it was cute.

Updated House Pictures

OK here are the latest pictures of the house. I was trying to get most of them without the car and dumpster in the way. Its slowly coming along, still have some inspections to pass but as far as the outside is concerned we are pretty much done with that. It will still be a little while before we will be able to park in the new garage but the doors are on it now. Still work that needs to be done upstairs in the loft, I was hoping it all would be done by Christmas, silly me, now we are just hoping it will be done before the baby arrives the first week in March. Ignore the dirt, we are working on getting some Sod and plants to go out in front.

A Little Wedding Action!

I tired to arrange the pictures in order but it did not work out that way, I couldn't move some of them around. Our friends Taryn and Rob got married last weekend at Frenchman's Reserve, it was very nice and we had a great time! I thought I would share some pictures from their special day. T, looked beautiful as always, and the bridesmaids looked pretty hot as well, especially the pregnant one! HAHA! Love you all ladies! See you on the 20th!

Bathroom getting worked on!!

Bubbers and the Bathroom!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
OK........so I had to take a few snap shots while there is work being done. Our bathroom, has been under construction for the last 3 years!! YEP that's right I said 3 years!! I think I should get a gold star for being such a patient wife :) This is just the shower part, the tile got done a few weeks ago and Michael is putting a film on the sliding glass doors that we have in our shower so the neighbors can't see us in our birthday suits! This task did get completed tonight, so there are a few other things that need to be done for this project to be fully completed. I will post pictures when that takes place, however I must warn you it may not be until after the new year! A work in progress, that's how we live.

Lazy Dog Days at the Buttress Household

Can you say spoiled or what? There were only 2 out of the 4 on the couch sleeping today, the other 2 usually get up there when we are not home. Michael and Kona were high fiving during the gator game last weekend!! I have been slacking with updating the blog, I don't know why, I guess I am a little scattered brain these days. More to come, haha!

Belly pictures 22.5 weeks

I am behind with the belly pictures here they are at 22.5 weeks, I will be 23 weeks tomorrow. Things have been so busy that I have not had a chance to post anything lately. We ended up getting food poisoning or a flu bug on Sunday night around 11:30ish which sent Michael and I in the bathroom for most of the night. I was throwing up for 6 hours and thought I was dying, it was a nightmare, needless to say we were both out of commission on Monday and pretty much took us almost the rest of the week to fully recover. Being preggo and throwing up for 6 hours, while sharing the spare bathroom with your hubby because yours is under construction is no fun, talk about bonding, haha.

OK so all you have to do is click on the play button and you should be able to see the video, if this is successful I will try to post one more of her chewing. We had an ultrasound today through a friend of a friend because I am crazy and can not wait another 6 weeks until I see the baby again, so this is her at 20.5 weeks, I will post a few other 3 and 4 D pictures. This is about a 3 second clip of her heartbeat, so cool.

Flutter Flutter, Pulse Pulse....

About 3:30am I felt some weird things going on in my belly, so I just laid there with my hands on my belly trying to see what it was. Then it was like these little movements going on in there, I was going to wake Michael but I did not think he would be able to feel them since they were so light that I was not sure if I was feeling them. I laid there for about 15 minutes and my belly was pretty active. I have read that when the baby starts to move you may not feel it for a little while because they like to be active at night when mommy is sleeping. Lucky for me I get up 2 or 3 times during the night to go to the bathroom and have been a restless sleeper since becoming preggo. This was really cool and exciting, at 3:45 the action had slowed down some and I went back to sleep. 5am, I'm getting ready to get up and feed the dogs and as I am laying there I feel a pulsing beat in my belly, so I put my hand on in, this was in a different spot than the fluttering, and sure enough it was pretty noticeable, pulse pulse pulse....this time I woke up Michael so he too could feel it, what was that, I'm not sure? I don't know if that was the baby or the baby's heartbeat or what, but it was going on for a little while. Finally I got up to feed the dogs, eat some cereal ( I was hungry) and then go back to bed. This was a first for us, lets see if it happens again tonight!!

And the offical weigh In is........

I went to the doctors on Tuesday and the burning question from people is how much do I weigh. How much have I gained. Well I weighed in at 151, so I have gained about 13 to 15 pounds. Yep, a woman putting her weight on her blog for all to see. :) I don't care really, I am enjoying every step of the way, so if I gain 20 or 50 pounds it is all good!! These are belly pictures at 18 weeks. I go back in 4 weeks for another check-up and then the following time when I am at 26 weeks, is when we can do the 4-D ultrasound, YIPPY!!! I will keep posting belly pictures every few weeks! Love to all!!

Quick House and Baby Update

Things are moving along with the house and we passed another inspection today!!! I will get some more pictures up soon. I hope this thing will be done by the holidays! We got the blood results back from our 2nd round of testing yesterday and all the tests were negative, which is good. I go back to the doctors next Tuesday for just a routine check up, listen to the heartbeat and check my blood pressure. I am feeling better but still tired and dry heaving, she sure lets me know when I have not eaten enough or eat as often as she would like me too. Its every few hours that I am stuffing my face with something. I am not able to fit into most of my pants at this time, so I have moved on to the maternity clothes that my friend Shannon and sister-in-law Jessica let me borrow. Thanks ladies, I am so much more comfortable!! It was great, like I got to go shopping and not spend any money :) We will keep you posted!!

Is it a Girl or a Boy?????????

I tried to get the pictures on here as best as I could but its difficult without a scanner, anyways we went to the doctor today for our second round of testing and to hopefully find out the sex. Well if you look at the last picture that should tell you, SHE was not being shy. Yep, it's a GIRL!! I have felt it was a girl since I was 10 weeks preggo, don't know why but that's what I felt and I was right! Point for me :) We are excited and can't wait. Either sex we would be thrilled, this is all a dream come true for us. They measured all the baby's anatomy today and all looked good so far. We will get the blood results back next week. We will keep you posted. I am in the awkward stage of my pants will not button anymore but I am not quite big enough yet for maternity clothes. My girlfriend Shannon let me borrow some clothes and the belly band!! THANKS, I was pretty comfy today. Stay tuned.....

Updated House Pictures

Here are the latest of a few pictures that we took of the house. It is coming along, we had an inspection but did not pass, Michael says the guys are being ridiculous and we should of passed. Anyways we have to resubmit the plans this week and hopefully get it passed this week. The guys continue to work on the stairs in the back for the bedroom on top. I thought I had a picture of the stairs but I guess I forgot to DL it. Oh well, next time.

Baby, House, and other information updates.

I just realized that I never updated the blog with the results of my blood work and doctors appointments, maybe I did and I forgot. Anyways all the blood work for the first round of testing came back normal as well as the ultrasound that they did again last week. The baby looked good and so did I. There was some concern that I may have had an infection but all was clear and fine. What they saw was some progesterone left over that I had been on prior, whew. My next appointment is Tuesday 9/9, with my OBGYN and I will be 14 plus weeks at that point :). I am not expecting much from that appointment, they will probably listen to the heart beat and that will be it, oh yeah and make me pee in a cup. Then our next big appointment will be September 25th, also my friend Jens birthday!! This is where we will hopefully find out the sex of the baby and where they will start the second part of the testing, lucky me, something more for me to be paranoid about. I have just started to feel better a few days ago, but am not completely out of the woods yet. I do have a little dry heaving in the afternoons but nothing like I have been, and my energy level is starting to come back. I think by next week I will be feeling great and able to start exercising again!! OK I think that is it on the baby news. Michael's mom is still very sick and remains in the hospital, we should have some more answers today, we are waiting on some test results to come back and speak with the doctor. As for the house, I have more pictures! Can you believe it, I just posted some a few days ago. I will try to get those up later this afternoon!! And last but not least, FOOTBALL SEASON IS HERE!! YIPPY!! College started last week and NFL was last night. This, as most of you know is my favorite time of year! The Gators are going to give a beating to the hurricanes this weekend!! Now I am off to do a little hurricane prep, but I think that Ike will being headed to the West Coast.

Addition Update ( house that is)

The guys have been here working daily for the past few weeks, minus a few rain days here and there. It is coming along but not as fast as we would like. They are here bright and early very morning to make sure the doggies and I can not sleep in!! We can not wait until it is all finished, not sure when that will be, Michael assures me it will be way before Christmas but living with a man who's in construction I know better!! :)
