Bad News

Hi all sorry to have to report this but my HCG levels dropped to an 18 and my progesterone only went up to a 7.9, so I will have a miscarriage. We are very disappointed, frustrated and many other things. They want me to come back Friday for more blood to make sure that my levels have dropped and return to normal. They are calling me tomorrow for something, dont rememeber what they said, I pretty much blocked anything out after she said it dropped to 18. So we will set up an appointment to meet with our doctor, most likely next week to find out where we go from here. Michael is my rock and such a wonderful person, I am so very lucky to have him as my husband, I don't know where I would be without him. We know we will get through this heartbreak and continue on our journey to be parents. Thanks to all of our friends and family for your support it means the world to us.

Baby Buttress Update

OK we are still not out of the woods but are cautiously excited. My HCG level went from an 11 to a 46 which is really good, however my progesterone level dropped and is only a 7.5 and my doctor likes to see it at a 20. I am on progesterone medicine and will go back Monday 7-23, for more blood work. The HCG will still need to rise, they say it should double every 48 to 72 hours, and if the progesterone drops they will double me up on my medicine, if its at a normal range or in the process of getting there they will leave it alone. So its a day by day thing and they told me to take it easy. We will keep you all posted and hopefully we will have some good news on Monday.

Michael and I spent this past weekend in Vero babysitting our niece and nephew. They sure kept us busy but we loved every minute of it. Michael and JD played golf on Saturday morning, what happened to helping me taking care of the kiddos? Hehe. We went swimming, to the park, to the book center for story time and met some new friends. Alaina is the daughter of our friends in Vero, Liz and Matt. She is 1 month older than Cade so they got to play and are friends still after the first impressions. Cade pooped right when we got there and Alaina spit up all over the phone, ahhhhh love at first sight. Here are a few pictures of our weekend!! ENJOY!!

Pregnancy Test

Today I had my pregnancy test and it came back positive, however my HCG levels are low, higher than last time but still low. We are excited and cautious at the same time. I go back on Thursday for another HCG level and a progesterone level. This will indicate if my pregnancy will continue on or if I will have a miscarriage. We wish we had better news but this is what it is. We will keep our fingers crossed that my levels go up and this pregnancy will make it.

Backyard Bonanza

We have been working on our house as always and finally called in some reinforcement. I found a crazy man with a chainsaw in the backyard and took pictures just incase I went missing, hehe. We basically have no grass and the doggies are loving it, getting dirt in their paws which lead to dirt on the floors and in our bed, thanks KOMALU!! The guys will be coming back next weekend to finish the job. We took out our old fence and extended our yard by about 10 feet or so and put up a new fence. We hope to summit the plans for the addition in August and then once we get approval we will be on our way, FINALLY!!

Progesterone Results 7-11-2007

Hi all just a quick update I got my levels back yesterday and it was a 45.1!!! So that is really good, meaning that the doc told me that I ovulated 3 strong follicles. So now we are back to more waiting but it will be here before we know it. Stayed tuned and keep your fingers and toes crossed!!

HAPPY JULY 4th!!

2nd day insemination complete and we hope it goes off with a bang!! We get to take the pregnancy test in 2 weeks, on the 17th!! I stayed home to rest today, while Michael, Aaron and Jessica enjoyed most of the day out on our boat. We are still working on that jungle of a backyard with hopes to have pictures up soon of the finished project. Hope everyone has a great 4th.

IUI 7-3-2007

Insemination Day one complete. Things went well and we went in with my Estrogen level at 379, the highest its ever been for me, lining at 10 and 4 follicles 20-17.3. Fingers and Toes crossed, stay tuned.
